Lustre and Ember share one control surface, oversampled path and timing contract. Their nonlinear cores, contours and harmonic priorities remain deliberately different.

Full-range character
There is no hidden “interesting zone” at the end of the knob. Harmonic colour grows across the whole 0–100% travel, while the endpoint remains the fullest expression of the selected voice.

One coherent path
Filters shape what enters the nonlinear core. Makeup lives on the wet branch. Mix returns a latency-compensated dry signal without changing the character you built.
Always-on quality path
The nonlinear engine stays at constant 16× oversampling instead of changing quality with the control position. Filter state, model transitions and dry/wet alignment are designed to stay calm under automation.
